In June, 2007, I retired from the Faculty Development Coordinator position. I have been asked to leave my workshop materials from the past five years online and, while I can't guarantee that all the outside links will work, I am happy to share these resources with others.

  2. Camtasia Studio 4 - Part 1 - a workshop on using Camtasia to record PowerPoint presentations along with closed captions and a printed transcript.
  3. Camtasia Studio 4 - Part 2 - a workshop on creating screen capture movies with titles, narration, zoom-n-pan features, callouts, and music.
  4. Podcasting in Education - a workshop on creating educationally effective podcasts using Audacity.

  10. International Faculty Development Opportunities - an information session on various international faculty development opportunities available to SCCD faculty given by Andrea Insley.
  11. Acrobat 7.0 Professional - a workshop on creating and enhancing handouts and ePackets using Adobe Acrobat.
  12. Impatica for PowerPoint - a workshop on using Impatica, a powerful but easy to use program, to narrate PowerPoint presentations and make them available to online students.
  13. 2006 - 2007 Curriculum Grants - an informal brown bag lunch session providing an overview of the curriculum grant program and the online application system.
  14. Excel Grade Books - a workshop on copying your students' names from your Instructor Briefcase and inserting them into an Excel grade book template.
  15. Demystifying the Professional Leave Process - an informal brown bag lunch session for getting answers to questions about the professional leave process and for viewing examples of previous wining applications.
  16. Using Skype - a workshop on using Skype to make free computer to computer calls.
  17. Exploring the SCCD Intranet - a workshop on navigating the SCCD Intranet to find resources, and access various grant applications.
  18. Creating Media-Rich Content for Today's Visually Oriented Students - a workshop presented at the Achieving High Performance Summer 2005 Association Conference
